IF R J Gunn (HAS, Apr 17) thinks our parliament operates much differently to the European Parliament, then he has never watched it on TV.
The chamber is almost empty.
The MPs are away calculating their expenses and they only turn up to vote as the whips tell them.
Perhaps they should not be allowed to vote if they don’t attend the debate?
