WORK and Pensions Minister Iain Duncan Smith, speaking at the Tory party conference, announced plans to pay benefits onto a type of credit card which can only be spent on essentials at specified shops (no doubt a Conservative-supporting retailer).
This is to ensure that scrounging idle wasters don’t fritter away tax payers’ money on booze and drugs etc.
Could I suggest that the pilot scheme is tested on those in Westminster?
Then we can all see how the champers-swilling, cigar-smoking elite are the biggest scroungers of all. If successful it could even be next issued to the Monarchy.
After all, we are all in it together – aren’t we?
