THE three jihadi schoolgirls heading for Syria headlined the six o'clock BBC1 news for two days. Mainly the subject has been who is to blame: teachers, parents, police, the airline?

No, these are supposedly clever A grade students who had the intelligence to find their way to Turkey on their own.

They must also be clever enough to know about beheadings, people thrown off buildings, and being burnt alive etc. Whose fault is it? It is their fault, their choice.

They are dangerous, a threat to this country and should be banned from returning to the UK.

Ron Wright, Ferryhill.
