Sunderland defender extends Coventry loan deal

SUNDERLAND defender Blair Adams has extended his loan spell with League One side Coventry City.

The South Shields-born Academy of Light graduate moved to the Ricoh Arena last November and will now stay with the club until January 16.

Adams has made 12 appearances for the Sky Blues and is eligible to play in the semi-final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy against Preston on Thursday night.
