Despite some late excitement, including a disallowed equaliser from Scott McDonald, Millwall held on.

Boro have lost seven of their last nine in the league and will spend the next week at least outside the top six.

Mowbray needed to change it and has. Rhys Williams and Kieron Dyer have both gone off. Boro are now playing with Miller, Carayol, Main and Emnes all on the pitch.

In a crowded area, Friend was among a group of Millwall players trying to get to James Henry's free-kick. But John Marquis, who celebrated as if it were his, got a touch along with George Friend to put the Lions ahead.

Great team move for the opener, good individual run and finish for the second. 

Defending well, keeping the home side to minimal chances. Every player in a blue and white shirt wants the ball and is comfortable with it.

Scunthorpe have won their last three at home and are one of the teams Pools are out to catch.

Ryton & Crawcrook Albion versus Tow Law Town has become the latest Northern League match to fall victim to the weather. As it stands, only two games of a scheduled 23 are on. It’s South Shields v Hebburn Town in Division One, while in Division Two it’s Whitehaven v Jarrow Roofing.

MATCH OFF: Darlington v Bishop Auckland

Today's game has been postponed because of the amount of snow on the Heritage Park pitch.

Two inches of snow fell overnight and with more forecast ahead of the 12pm kick-off, officials had no option other than to postpone the game.

No date has been announced for the rearranged game.

Darlington are next due in action next Saturday at Newcastle Benfield while Bishops are face Gateshead in the Durham Challenge Cup on Wednesday at Heritage Park.

Team news: Alan Pardew is sweating over the availability of Tim Krul after the goalkeeper injured his ankle in the closing stages of Thursday's Europa League win over Metalist Kharkiv - he is a major doubt. Cheik Tiote is available after missing the game in Ukraine because of an illness, while Mathieu Debuchy and Yoan Gouffran return to the squad after being ineligible for European matches. Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino is unlikely to make too many changes to the side that shocked Manchester City in their last outing, although Gaston Ramirez is available again after injury.
