HARTLEPOOL UNITED caretaker boss Sam Collins has a number of increased options today.

Pools go to Burton with Collins back in temporary command following last Saturday’s sacking of Paul Murray.

For his last game in charge, Murray was without three cup-tied players for the FA Cup defeat to Blyth.

Matty Dolan and Scott Fenwick will return to the side today, with Joe Ironside a likely substitute.Collins has had four games in charge this season, in between the exit of Colin Cooper and the appointment of Murray.

He had impressive displays against Sheffield United in the JPT and then in winning at Exeter, but Pools were poor in the two following games, beaten by Luton and Accrington.

Collins fielded a largely first XI in the reserve game in midweek. While Pools lost at Scunthorpe, Collins was satisfied with the performance.

The club has not conducted any press interviews this week, cancelling their regular Thursday talk with the manager.

Pools are expected to appoint a new boss next week.
