Former Darlington midfielder Neil Maddison will appear at a talk-in later this month, looking back on a career in which he played for Southampton, Middlesbrough and Quakers.

Now a co-commentator on BBC Tees, Maddison spent the bulk of his career with Southampton and then Boro before returning to Darlington and playing for his hometown club.

After hanging up his boots Maddison was twice Quakers joint-caretaker manager, once alongside Martin Gary and then again with Craig Liddle.

All are welcome to attend the event, which takes place at 8pm on Thursday, February 26 at the Railway Tavern Northgate, with entry £3 and profits split between Quakers and event organisers, Darlington-based film company Pimm Productions.

This will be the third such event organised by Pimm having recently held well-received talk-ins with former Darlington defender Gary Coatsworth and earlier this month current Quakers captain Gary Brown and left-back Ian Watson.
