PATRICK BAMFORD and Lee Tomlin return to Middlesbrough's starting line-up for this evening's Championship game with Bolton Wanderers.

Having started Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Leeds United on the bench, the attacking duo both return to the starting selection as Boro look to keep up the pressure on Championship leaders Derby County.

Bamford replaces Kike, who drops down to the substitutes' bench, with Tomlin coming in for Jelle Vossen, who is not in the squad after suffering concussion at the weekend.

In total Aitor Karanka has made four changes to his Boro side, with Dimi Konstantopoulos replacing Tomas Mejias in goal after serving a one-match suspension.

The other alteration comes at right-back, with Ryan Fredericks returning in place of Emilio Nsue.

Bolton have named former Boro centre-half David Wheater in their starting line-up, and will kick off with an attacking partnership of veteran duo Emile Heskey and Eidur Gudjohnsen.
