RYAN Noble has returned to Hartlepool United on a month's loan from Sunderland.
The striker made nine appearances last season on a temporary basis and has returned to the club to get some first-team football under his belt.
Pools boss Neale Cooper watched the striker score twice for Sunderland's U-21 side in a friendly with Middlesbrough on Thursday and moved quickly to get him in ahead of Saturday's trip to Crewe.
Noble trained with Pools this morning while the clubs were in talks over the temporary deal.
