ROBIN van Persie and Cheik Tiote have both avoided censure for incidents in Manchester United's 3-0 win over Newcastle on Sunday.
The Football Association have opted not to charge either player with a disciplinary offence.
Van Persie appeared to catch Yohan Cabaye with an elbow in the closing stages of Sunday's game, and Newcastle boss Alan Pardew accused the Manchester United striker of deliberately making contact with his opponent.
Referee Howard Webb admitted he did not see the incident, but after reviewing it on video, the official claimed he would not have deemed it worthy of a sending off so no further action will be taken.
Tiote has been accused of stamping on Tom Cleverley's leg, but as Webb dealt with the incident at the time, no retrospective punishment is possible.
